Van Loon Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Mark Hein has years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. Responsibilities

  • General Medicine and elective surgeries
  • Oversee technicians performing routine dental prophylaxis
  • Dental radiology and extractions[ training provided ]
  • Ultrasound training in abdominal and echocardiography[ provided ]
  • After completion of above ultrasound training perform routine abdominal ultrasound if necessary
  • Telemedicine consults by Idexx labs
  • Perform telemedicine consults in cardiology via cardiopet, utilizing ecg and taking chest x rays
  • Tonometry, schirmer tear testing
  • Radiology [Penn hip under supervision by trained Doctor
  • Optional emergency medicine and surgery after hours upon request by candidate as an opportunity to enhance wage[entire emergency fee goes to associate] as well as pro sal compensate]
  • Most importantly, maintain high staff morale and sense of humor in spite of fast paced clinical setting
  • Oversee staff efficiency to maintain doctor, technician assistant responsibilities

Historically associates have earned up compensation packages up to $130,000.00/year under our Pro-Sal Bonus system. Benefits package are negotiable and may include health insurance, life insurance, 401K, CE/Dental Plan and vacation. This is inclusive in the employment package at the employee request.

 

Mentorship is gladly provided until the candidate feels comfortable with all aspects of the practice.

 

Van Loon Animal Hospital and Wisconsin Veterinary Orthopedics is a 22-acre ranch.

 

We practice only the highest quality medicine and off our clients the best protocol before offering anything less. This has put our practice growth in the top one percent in the United States over 50% of the time over the last three years.

 

We perform orthopedics on Raptors and operate a rehab center for raptor in conjunction with the LaCross County Humane Society.
