OVERVIEW:


We are seeking motivated and caring veterinarians to join our company to provide quality care to our animal patients. In this role veterinarians will have one-on-one appointments with pets, companion animals, as well as their families. This is a mobile veterinary service with no brick and mortar location. Note we have multiple openings in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Atlanta (2 openings per location, 6 in total).

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Veterinarian Duties and Responsibilities Treat and prevent an array of animal diseases and illnesses. Conduct tests and observations to provide a proper diagnoses Prescribe necessary medications Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases. Communicate with animal owners to answer questions and educate them on situations/treatment plans .Conduct research and development to advance the veterinary medicine field. Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other staff to provide top-notch care to customers.

WRITTEN JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you have a strong love for animals? Our company is looking for someone who is caring and compassionate to work as a Veterinarian. As a Veterinarian, you will diagnose and treat animals with illnesses and injuries and educate animal owners on animal behavior, what to feed the animal, what kind of exercises the animal should do to maintain fitness, as well as how to interact with other animals and humans. You will carry out research on animal diseases, such as prevention and treatment, write prescriptions for sick animals, and vaccinate animals against infections.

To qualify for this position, you must a Bachelor’s degree in science-related areas, such as chemistry, biology, physiology, anatomy, zoology, animal science, and molecular biology. You must have a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, state licensure and 2-3 years of residency.
