OVERVIEW:


California Montessori Project (CMP) is a successful public charter school network based in the greater Sacramento area. The network, serving over 2600 students on eight campuses, will be celebrating its 19th year of operation in the 2019-20 school year. CMP is authorized through, and maintains strong relationships with four School Districts: Elk Grove Unified School District, Sacramento City Unified School District, San Juan Unified School District and Buckeye Union School District.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Executive Director answers to the CMP Governing Board, and is involved in all aspects of organizational management, including school program and safety, human resources, finance, facilities, district relationships, day-to-day duties and overall operations. As a visionary Leader, the Executive Director fills a motivational position and challenges the community to bring forth their best efforts on behalf of the organization.

California Montessori Project (CMP) is a successful public charter school network based in the greater Sacramento area. Spanning over four school districts, CMP provides an exceptional K-8 Montessori program.

 

The primary function of the CMP Executive Director/Superintendent is a motivational position where you will carry out the organization’s mission to provide a Quality, Tuition-Free, Montessori Education that challenges our students to reach their full potential.

The Executive Director/Superintendent answers to the CMP Governing Board, and is involved in all aspects of organizational management, including school program and safety, human resources, finance, facilities, district relationships, day-to-day duties and overall operations.

As the Executive Director/Superintendent, you’ll ensure that all children are provided an optimal Montessori learning environment, and that all instructional staff are provided a resource-rich teaching environment.

 

A minimum of five years of Charter School or District-level leadership experience. You’ll need a valid Administrative Services Credential and a Masters or Doctoral Degree in Education. You must have extensive experience in the educational community, in both leadership and instructional positions.
